My broken girl

The love she once felt
has begun to decay
his words no longer make her heart melt
shes fading away
and hes trying to hold on
to what they once had
but hes only so strong
and he can only get so sad..
and through the tears hes drowning in
hes watching her slip
he sees his nails cutting into her skin
and so he loosens his grip
because hurting this girl
is the last thing he wants
so he walls up his world
and puts up his fronts
because hes in regret
for what he has done
he made her forget
he was her only one
and when she looks at him
its just not the same
because shes staring right through him
as if desiring a different game
and he knows how it happened
he knows what occurred
he starts hysterically laughing
as he cries for her words..
He tried for awhile
to break into her mind
so he could edit some files
and get her to bind
but once she was broken
she started to bleed
and the words that were spoken
said she didn't know if he was something she'd need
So what do you do?

Believe it or not..
its a simple question
and the answer Ive got
is you learn a lesson..
you have to change something
so shes no longer in pain
then swallow the sting
to keep your love sane..
and thats what hes doing..
by refusing to fight
there can be no misconstruing
that he needs her at night
Just look at her smile..
Look at her face..
then tell me you have denial
about her making his heart race..
and inside his head
she's all thats there
swimming in his pool of red
regret and despair
his apologies unspoken
his words left unheard
though shes finally broken
her feelings are blurred
and he's trying to mend
his broken queen
so next time she'll bend
instead of breaking so clean
but shes being pulled
by the grip of fate
emotions being nulled
by the hand of hate
because as soon as she broke
they crawled in
whirling like smoke
through a hole in her skin
so smile i guess..
Because he really messed up.
Now hes running from lovelessness
while hes on his knees sucking up
Ya hes moving slow
but what would you expect
with just one wrong word he knows
he'll be her next reject
so when he's coming through
do not stand in front
... if you get in his way too
he'll start a hunt
because this girl is his forever
at least in his mind
because love cannot be severed..
simply allowed to unwind
and as it does
it wraps around your throat
lifting you from the ground
killing you as it decides to smote
every emotion it had found
and like a black hole
it will tear apart your very being
consuming your soul
with no hope for fleeing
thats why his mind is racing
to the girl he speaks of
because he regrets disgracing
his now broken love
though hes still holding her hand
she's slipping away
but hes killing whatever it is fate has planned
by changing his ways
so with this new start
all he has to say
is "with all of my heart,
I beg you to stay."
