As I’m sitting here crying
My heart breaking inside
As my soul is slowly dying
I wish I could be by your side.

I wish I could see your face
And gaze into your eyes
I wish I could feel your embrace
But i’m here choking in my cries.

I dream of us together
I dream of us at night
That our love lasts forever
That everything is alright.

But I’m still sitting here
Laying on my bed.
Wishing I could hold you near
Thinking of the tears I shred.

Here, I guess I will remain
