Delirium

by Cristina   Nov 14, 2004

A roller coaster ride on the verge of collapsing
A broken heart put together with bandages
A lonely mind swimming in illusions

Skepticism in every corner
The sun slowly arises
And the moon never seems to fade.

Desperate to know what he hides
Feeling the need to know his private emotion
Wondering if my tears will hold him to me

A forgotten emotion
That flourishes and becomes a field of wild flowers
And watching a sunrise puts chills up your spine

And I fear that like a reflection in a puddle
It will evaporate and be gone
And time will have passed

And like a small fire turning into wild flames
My heart feeling like a precious stone
Small crystals flow down my face

Travelling through space
Seeing comets and constellations
Bringing heaven back

With destiny pulling the galaxy together
Gravity closing my lungs
While momentum transfers our body heat
