Dying Misery

by Bobby Brownlie   Nov 14, 2004

You are all I think about I can’t get you out of my head,
Every night I think about what went wrong between us,
As I lye down and cry myself to bed.

I know that you hurt me and you tore my heart straight out,
But it is hard when we were together for 2 years,
And your head is no longer lying on my chest,
It is so difficult when it’s not there and it is impossible to rest.

You kept me around for as long as you needed me,
For as long as we were together I thought our love was meant to be.
But once I found out that your love was lust and you were talking to someone else
You completely ruined my life,
And just as I was getting better what you did turned it all around and now I get the urges again to run and grab for the knife.

What lured me in to you I need to warn others to watch out for your eyes,
Because all that is behind them are all pathologic lies.
I hope you are happy now that you got what you wanted out of me,
Because I know you’re in your little happy world,
But you put me in the world of sweet dying misery.
