My Shining Star

Shining in the dead of night, your beauty shimmers all through the sky.
I look to the heavens to see your face, and find you there with everlasting grace.
I reach for you but you're still too high, so I grab a latter and give it another try.
I reach again and fail once more, hoping you will fall to the floor. So I can catch you and hold you tight, my shining star within the night.
