Im tired

I'm tired of pretending
that everythin's OK
my tears are starting to show
and my smile's fading away

I'm tired of trying
I'm tired of crying
i know I'm smiling
but inside I'm dying

I'm tired of waking up
to the same shi*t over again
I'm tired of cutting and hurting
and feeling this pain

I'm tired of hearing the news
crime, theft, hate
I'm tired of poverty and war
child abuse and rape

I'm tired of the world not understanding
the pain that people feel
I'm tired of begging to god
I'm tired of wishing this wasn't real.

but the truth is that it is real
and alone i cant change the world
but by reading this poem
you are helping me make my voice heard.
