Sweet Remedy

by Andrea   Nov 14, 2004

Let my imagination soar
Oh, I’m sorry,
I didn’t mean for it to scorn.

Look at the scars on my wrist
Yes, it hurt,
But I just tighten my fist.

Watch my unpleasant memories go by
See what happens
Every time I dare to try?

Wipe your tears away
Don’t worry,
I will make everything okay.

Did you hear that?
Darkness is calling me
Do not turn around, or look back.

Yes, it is calling my name
Finally, it will take away
My pain including my shame.

Listen to its melody
Isn’t the rhythm
Such a sweet remedy?
