Fade

by Fluffy Cotton   Nov 14, 2004

My soul is worn away
My eyes are bleak and faded
My tongue is tired and parched
My body, frail and jaded

The water grants no aid
Smiling grieves my soul
Sleeping bears fatigue
And crying takes no toll

I turn toward a friend
They scarcely know im here
I wish that when i put forth words
They'd listen, not just hear

A soft, continual droaning
Comes from my mouth, just noise
It seems that when i speak
No one can hear my voice

I've become a shadow
I'm just a dotted line
My reflection's gone now
My heart i must consign

until i can be heard
You will not comprehend
until i can be noticed
you'll never be a friend
