Loser

by Mild insomnia   Nov 15, 2004

Looking back, I guess I’ve been unthoughtful,
Loosing track, I’m sure it’s entirely my fault,
Lord knows I tried to make you happy.

Of all things that I could have said,
Only that was something I’d regret,
One little word and I’m loosing my head,
Obviously I’m just making a mess.

Shouldn’t have said, anything – I spoke too soon,
Should have kept, secrets in my head, not with you,
So that you know, I just wasn’t thinking.

Everytime that I open my mouth,
Each single thought builds up and spills right out,
Evoking my heart and tearing it down,
Erasing my principles that keep me sound.

Righting wrongs, the story of my sad life,
Running head long, far from this pain and strife,
Remembering how we used to be.
