Sisters for Life

Almost three years ago
I stepped foot into my new life
I felt as if I was so alone
Until God put you by my side

Always there by each others side
So close we'd never split from one another
We talked together and even cried
People thought we were crazy too

We were like sisters without the same blood
We always knew what each other were thinking
First we were a flower bud
But we blossomed to a precious rose

From time to time we'd have our fights
I'd get so mad at you, you couldn't imagine
But then I'd think all through the night
And say to myself I miss you sis!

Without you the other side of my heart is empty
This may seem like a sappy love poem
But this is the way I feel, can't you see?
We were meant to be sisters for life!
