The Knife's Cry

by Ashley   Nov 15, 2004

She started as a young teen
Just when she couldn't take it

It controlled her for so long
Every night it spilled her blood

She put it in a box
To erase all memory

Hasn't in over a month
Occasionally has come close

Tempting as it may be
She knows that she can't let it be

Be what again controls her life
As it for so long did

One month now since she last gave in
Thinking everything is gonna be good

Every night it calls to her
In her dreams it haunts

Instilling in her head
That she needs it again

Thinks one time can not cause to much harm
She finally decides to give into it's cry

Now she is trapped again
For the knife is in control once again
