Her Blackened Spirits

by ~Bloodied&Broken   Nov 16, 2004

The sun rises
Her soul grasped by fire
Her blackened spirits
The tears weep
Tumble
And fall
The crimson ropes
Bind her down
With bloodied hands
From streams that run
And spill
Taunting her soul’s cries
Killing what little that’s left
She tries to scream out
But she’s
Alone
She tries to run
On a dead end journey
Each step
Each stumble
And every fall
Pulls her further down
Her life
Shattered upon the ground
She tries to pick up each piece
But it slices
Her skin
Blood
Pours
Upon her numb frame
Her brittle bones
The pain seeps on
Too late
For help
So away
Away
She fades
As the sun sets
