Homicidal Suicide

by Unseen Exposure   Nov 16, 2004

She was beaten every day by cold words and fists
Bruised and blistered by thrashes and hard hits
Tormented and laughed at, as if it all were a joke
Swollen eyes, and cut lips made it hurt when she spoke
Incisions made from nails and cut glass made her bleed
She prayed for it to cease, but all it did was exceed
Never told anyone, kept silence, not a word
She lived in isolation, no chance to ever be heard
Tears comforted her endless days each night in bed
As she fought hard to fight the pain from her head
She felt worthless but deserving of abuse
Tightly strangled by the grasp of the noose
Dreaming brought her peace, angels, and love
A place where there's laughter, and light up above
But screaming awakes her as he staggers inside
She counts down the moments until face and fist collide
Everythings a blur, she's lost strength to stand
She hears vicious yelling, but she can't understand
Inside her mouth she tastes crimson wet blood
Coughing and gagging, it's starting to flood
She looks into his drunken and blood shot eyes
She said "Daddy, tonight is the night I will fly"
And with one last kick into her stomach unfilled
She takes one last breath, her body is still
He stands there with anger, "Get up, stupid wh *re!"
But she doesn't move, just lays on the floor
He falls on his knees and strokes her cold face
He said "I'm so sorry", but his words were too late
Blood on her lips, stale tears slide off her nose
Seeing the blood stains and rips in her clothes
He throws the bottle of whiskey into the wall
Runs to the bedroom, regretting it all
He pulls out a gun from the drawer by his bed
Pulls back the trigger and points at his head
One, two, then three, his vision goes black
One Homicide, one suicide, there's no turning back ...
