One Weakness...

by SilentAngel   Nov 17, 2004

You are my one weakness,
That flaw in the chain,
The tendon in Achilles heel.
You know my frailty and
How to get to my soul.
You know how to peer in my eyes
And see the hurt that I feel inside.
Somehow through that gaze
Your words are not needed.
My comfort comes is small kisses
And precious emotion.
At that moment I feel that desired reassurance.
Unconditional love surrounded by devotion
Something I have, in no way, ever felt in its entire clarity
That missing piece in my life
The incomplete puzzle piece filling that void
In what once if felt would never be complete.
Subtle retribution of years of heart ache and pain taken away.
