You Know something?

by Mustardhart   Nov 17, 2004

You know Lord?
I have not prayed enough
But, I have said a word
I have not bowed low enough
My heart, humbly has

I have not wailed loud enough
Broken, awake with groan is my spirit
Though I’ve not spoken much
I saw that I dared say such

I’ve not filled the sea with teardrops
But at least I’ve cried.
Even when I lacked praise
My heart can say I love you

When my words dry they seem
Sweet with music rise as incense
And when I say, “you know something?”
You say, “yes I do”
It is such wonder
To see us both yonder.
