If you are there for me

by don mohr   Nov 17, 2004

I won't neander around like a
neanderthal, hanging my head low
and scraping my knuckles on the
ground-I won't carry a big fat-end
wooden club over my shoulder
hoping you would bend over at the
laundromat, oh no...I won't ever
embarrass you anyplace for any
reason just for me-
If you are there for me, I won't
play the monkey when we are with
family and friends, throwing my
shit around to impress them-
It doesn't take much to behave like
a normal human being, if I respect
myself when I am with you.
