The good news is

all those nights i called you in tears
all those fights and all those fears
without you i wouldn't have

so much thankfulness
entwined in this mess
now the bad news is
when my heart was still his
we were fairly good friends
but now that the relationship's gone
me and you can't go on
our friendship's fallen apart
i don't know where to start
i can't call you any more
all my feelings i store
