I Am So Glad

I am now getting through all of the pain that you caused me,
I finally realized what you were doing and I am done,
I am done letting you blind me from your shit and I am finally able to see.

I am getting over how you left me for your ex,
And you never loved me; all you were doing was,
Putting my love to the test.

You may have stolen my love,
And you may have broken my heart,
But the best thing that happened between us,
Was when I said I think we should be apart.

I am glad that my friend helped me out,
And I didn’t cut my wrist regardless of how bad I was felling blue,
And I am so glad we never did anything, especially when you
Wanted me to give it up to you.

I am so glad I never did both of these things,
Because it would have been a waste especially because it
Would have been on you,
I am so glad my friends opened my eyes,
And stopped the pain that you put me through.

I am finally starting to forget about you and
Putting in the past all of your caused pain,
And I am finally not breaking down and crying
Whenever I hear your name.

I am glad you stopped calling me
Because I don’t want to hear your voice,
And I am glad that we broke up,
Because that was my best choice.

You may have good looks but the fake love you spread,
It will never have an end,
And I am so glad that I said no when you asked me
To at least be your friend.
