A mothers cry

by Amanda   Nov 17, 2004

A troubled mother walked through the bathroom door.
Saw her distant daughter lying on the floor,
Screamed and went into shock,
To this day she’s insane
To this day she can still feel the hurtful pain.

There’s only one thing that she wishes for,
There’s only one thing that she hope’s,
That her dead daughter of fourteen years,
Could have coped.

That she could of coped with the pressure
She could have coped with the pain
So she didn’t feel the need to dig a knife into her vein.
Maybe it was her fault that her daughter had to die
Maybe if she told her mum and didn’t feel the need to lie.

Her eyes no longer see beauty
Only thoughts as black as night,
Her life’s no longer special
And it’s meaning, she’s sadly losing sight.

She wishes she could have been there
Before her daughter caused herself harm
That she could be there before her daughter
Felt the need to dig a knife into her arm.

Because of that memory that will always be
She feel she did something wrong
Without her daughters love no longer does she feel strong.
But not at all was it her fault even though it’s written over her face
Her daughter had to go because she could not stay in this hurtful place.

She keeps it all locked up
In her mind and heart it will remain
She doesn’t want people to talk and think she’s nothing but insane.
For the rest of the world doesn’t understand
Deep she wants to die
This is all the pain involved
In a mother’s cry.
