I need to get out of this town, cause everytime I see his smile it breaks me down.

He was my first love, my true love, and he let me go as free as a dove.

Time I thought I needed, freedom all I wanted, now all I want is him back.

He was a great man, offering me his wedding band.

To scared I guess I was, this was the love who would have given up his life to love me.
