You've been there since day one
I don't know how i would have made it
without a friend like you
you're always there to encourage me
always a shoulder to cry on
and of course the one to lean on
the one i can depend on
you're just different from a regular friend
theres something about you
the way you say friends till the end
i know you just wouldn't say that
to make me feel like i have someone around
you're always there just to say something like that to turn the day back round
so i know that its true

you're there there through the good times and the bad
rough times and the sad
you're there to inspire me
no matter what it is
you always say you can do this
or they just wasn't good enough for you
