As I Walk Into The House

by DiZzYAdi   Nov 18, 2004

As I walk into the house from school
I hear her scream
As my sister leads me out from the back door
I hear her scream and my lamp break
As we head toward the car
I hear my father yell
As my sister reaches for the cell phone
I hear my father yell as he locks his gun
As the police arrive in the driveway
I hear the last cry of my mother
As the ambulance arrives in the street
I hear another shot from the 9mm gun
As I watch my parents drive away in a black truck
I feel the tears run down my face
As I listen to the priest
I remember all the good times we had as a family
As I lay my parents down to sleep
I forgive them for being alcoholics
