Are you in love with him?

by don mohr   Nov 18, 2004

There we were again, at the mutual
point of breaking-and we tried to
convey an offering of peace, just
to keep from shaking;
I left my heart in puzzles, most of
the pieces heart shaped, made up
of me and you;
You said it was time you were going
to create, I hope we can reinvent
a better effect from wine, less guilt
more pleasure-but like always the
glass shatters-leaving behind trails
dangerously scattered, I thought;
The after dinner mints left a sweet
taste on our kiss, what did I miss?
Didn't you feel this? One light glows
one light knows, maybe two lights
just fade out.
