A Town No One Knows

by Sarah   Nov 18, 2004

§About A Little Town In The Middle Of Nowhere§

I caught a train to somewhere, some time ago
I rode past Happiness and Ecstasy as I came to Alone.

I ran from something I did not know
I left a heart to wander without a soul.

Now purple dreams leave me inanimate
Mosaic winds blow away my past.

Cruel tears laugh inside my chest.
Reminding me of what I left.

Here I breathe no essence of life
And feel no sense of time.

My smile fades in shades of blue
To deeper blithe shadowed in gloom.

I search through fields of lilies for truth
I bathe in fountains of aging youth.

I lie in gardens of deadly bloom
With no one, not someone in the town of Alone.

A carefully crafted scene, beautfully worded. Seems very mysterious and intriguing, especially your "fountains of aging youth," and "gardens of deadly bloom". Now why didnt I comment on this earlier? A great piece.
