Dark shadow

Its here...
the dark shadow that creeps in my dreams,
corrupts my spirit,
kills my soul.
it live within me,
and has now come out to play.
i don't know how to kill it,
because it seems a friend,
its been there since the beginning,
and seems to never end.
when my world is crashing down on me,
it hides within my soul,
and when I'm happy and nothings wrong,
it brings the cold.
it keeps me from my heaven,
it keeps me from my heart,
it keeps me from my family,
and tears my body apart.
i don't know what to do anymore,
so ill go by my free will,
cause now i think I'm going to,
go in for the kill.
