As I sit in my room I wonder why
Why did he go away?
Left me here all alone
With a promise that he’d come back one day
Yet not one day did he come back
Just left me in the cold
He took away my heart
He took away my soul
No more do my eyes shine
He took away my spark
My sky no longer blue
He left my world dark
He made me feel so small
So helpless, leaving me alone
He left my heart open yet turned my heart to stone
I must move on
Forget about him
I must stand firmly in my place
Must not allow myself to sway like a limb
He’s gone away so far
Happier with out me
I wish I could make him feel
I wish I could make him see.
