Within the right of passage
A world within there lies
Alive with lights and sparkles
And figments of our childhood lives
As we walk along the paths
Something within us dies
Our shattered hopes and broke dreams like the walls
No more sparkle in our eyes
We glance along the walls of this magical place
Pictures of our child hood and what we are today
We used to be all smiles, but now not so much
We sit alone in the dark just setting down to lay
Attempting to make amends
Attempting to make things right
We run a little faster
Deeper into the night
What our future holds
We do not at the slightest know
So live within the day
Don’t wait till you grow old
