Insomnia

by Ryan Linton   Nov 19, 2004

It\'s 2:42 and there\'s nothing to do,
except to think about you,
you\'re gone...

I really should be asleep
middle of the night, the house still creeks
or is it just that my heart still aches.
cannot sleep, becauce my thoughts you take.
I can\'t count sheep or even relax
my only thoughts are to get you back.

Now it\'s 3:42 there\'s still nothing to do,
except think about you,
you\'re gone...

Now in the night sleep is so needed,
but somehow it seems I\'ve been cheated,
never knew my heart would have bleeded,
like this when I wasn\'t with you,
how could I have known this love couuld be so true.

The clock reads 4:42 and there\'s nothing to do,
except to remeber you,
you\'re gone

My pillow bring no comfort,
like the memories of you and I together,
I wish the summer days could\'ve lasted forever.
and if you asked me now I would have never guessed it would end like this.

Now it\'s5:42 what else can I do,
I can\'t stop thinking of you,
you\'re still gone.

The first rays of sunlight start to
come through the window onto my face,
but I can\'t fill the space,
Noone I meet can take your place.
So tired now, but I can\'t seem to forget...
that you\'re gone...

you\'re gone...
you\'re gone...

You

Are

Gone.
