Galled emotions

Long been
Living with a lie
Time has come
Am done with that.

Past perfume
Present reality
Haunting carnality
Caressed nonsense

Cruel betrayal
Cutting-edge abandon
Lush pains
Weird madness

Overtaken by a ruse
Ambushed by a regiment
Sliced on plates
Ground on a saucer

Read my lips
Graceful exit
Quoted maniac
A big time finesse.
