Silver Evening

by Jennie   Nov 19, 2004

Truly incaptured,

forever indebt

of something I do not understand

that happened to me in the midst of

calm silver seas

that cushioned the moon...

until it vanished

only to leave the pools of silver

with the light that stood

vulnerable to unknowns.

The sea no longer calm

but fierce with nothing

to keep it away from touching

the moon that slings with shattered

bits of it's beauty...

that is scattered out in the mirrored sky.
