Her Feelings of Being Alone

by Dani   Nov 19, 2004

The pain of being lonely,
oh, it cuts right through her.
And leaves not one bit of sympathy.
So, there she lies.
Flat on the floor,
left alone to look back into old memories.
And close to none of them bring a smile to her face.
She closes her eyes,
dreams away every lie,
and continues to hope she won't awake
to yet another worthless day.
