There are many paths to forgiveness
More than one or two
Like many paths to more than this
To another person from you

There are many times you need forgiveness
Many times you need a friend
Many times you fall out with that someone
On who you could depend

There are many times you want forgiveness
When you have done something too wrong
Many times you wish for more
When it’s gone on for too long

There are many times you deserve forgiveness
When no one grants your wish
Many times you deserve so much more
When no one gives you this

There are also many times when
Forgiveness isn’t right
Forgive but not forget they say
Wait too long it’s out of sight

When you have found the door you wish to take
Stand back and watch it open
Watch it from the other side for once
Take a chance, never give up hoping
