You used to be like a garden
So bright and colorful
Now you’re like a dead petal
Fallen and lost control
You’re full of emotion
You’re like an abandoned ocean
Full of salty tears
With everything inside
Moving around
You’re like a stranded bird
So far away form home
You’re scared and try to hide
You try to fight your fears
But quickly learn you cannot do it alone
You get caught up in others lives
Like a bug flying in webs
I tried to tell you
I tried to warn you as well
But you couldn’t see that
I was telling you the truth
So maybe next time you’ll see
You’ll listen and then learn
That friends will be there
And guide you
I know you have wings
There just dusty and hidden
But you have to accept
That not every thing is good
Or all that I say is nice
Cause the truth hurts sometimes
I wish you would get over it all
And grow back to a flower
Beautiful and tall
Like you once were
With nothing to worry about
