What would you do if your Father was trying to kill your mother?
would you ring the police?
would you pack your bags and run?
would you abandon your mother?
would you learn how to fight your Father?
twenty years ago, a little girl lived.
she lived in a city called Chicago.
her Father used to beat her up,h
her mother used to wish they were free.
the little girl thought that this was the way of the world.
some days she would turn up to school, and she could not see.
her eyes could be seen one day black, her hands would carry rope marks.
the teachers knew what was happening,
but what could they do?
for this little girls father was the most powerful man in Chicago.
ten years after, the little girl was not little.
she was now 12 and was learning how to fight.
she decided that the best way to get her father was in the night.
she knew her father loved her mother in a sick way,
but for the things he has done, she knew he must pay.
she got home from school one day and saw her mum putting out the trash,
when she drew nearer, she saw that on her mum's face was a slash.
the girl went inside and started packing, but before she was finished, she heard the gravel crunching.
her Father was home.
he entered the kitchen, grabbed a beer, then sat down and said:
You! come over here!'
the girl made her way to her father and sat on his lap were
he gave her a kiss on the cheek. but the kiss didn't stop. he kissed further down.
now was the time to do it,
now was the time to make him pay, for all the damage he did to her in one day.
she got up, hit him across the face, ran from the kitchen, grabbed the bags in her room, got her mum and ran.
right now she is still running.
and last i heard,
her mum is dying.
so ask your self this question
