Echoes of Lovers

by Krete   Nov 20, 2004

Echoes of distant lovers,
Brothers and mothers lost amongst the play,
far to caught up to even leave.

Hidden statues over vacant lands,
filled with forced smiles,
and distant forgotten chants.

Shadows of Grey clouds,
covering bright blue Sky's,
hidden children run and hide.

Taillights slowly fading,
oblivion is falling down,
and the world has lost definition.

Pregnant mothers bearing empty wombs,
morgues consistent of tiny tombs,
endless wounds.

Children lost of lullaby's,
wondering why,
crying great sighs...

Odes to joy exploding,
as sudden rip tides grow roaring,
and seething, reething sadness greeting.

Left behind and walking astray,
people cry,
they wonder why.

Within icy caverns, frozen to solitude,
an icy tomb of hidden hopes,
falls to the floors bassoon.

Yet swimming in a tiny lake,
a movement is so sudden,
as hidden is not dull,
but sudden as a bull,
violence and ill temper,
fills the little room.

Awaken a paradox.
