Standing on the sidelines fresh out of time
Age against me, for you see I’m aged in mind
Youthfulness sparkles like the stars out at night
Remarkable beauty is discovered with visionless sight
Esteem escapes more regularly yet not always
While beauty grows with the passing of all the days
Expounding on experiences, faith, love, and life
Still shuddering about one day becoming a wife
Application of the things learned expressing my wisdom
Fully expressing myself using will or my freedom
I look up into thin air and all that I see
