Care

by Zundricia   Nov 20, 2004

When I engage in conversation that can seem around the bin,
When I try to help too much and spread myself out too thin,
When I’m fickle about another looking and at you I swear,
It’s simply, only showing you just how much I care.

When I’m calling late at night and realize I’m not on your mind,
When I accept things from you almost all of the time,
When I invade your space as if I’m already there,
It’s simply, only, proving to you how much I really care.

When I look into your eyes and give you a small chuckle,
When I think of you and all of a sudden my knees buckle,
When I compliment your shoes, your clothes, and your hair,
It’s simply, only showing you that I really, truly care.
