A thought about you

I thought about you this morning
just like every other day
it might come to shock you
compared to everything i say

have you ever noticed
the way i pass your side
i don't stop to have a conversation
if anything i hide

you may have thought i was being rude
to not even show a smile
but truth be told i could not cope
to even stand there for the shortest while

when you start a conversation
then i say i have to go
its because inside I'm dying
because you just don't seem to know

that day you went and broke my heart
exactly 4 months and a day
you never even asked me
if i was going to be OK

you don't know how you hurt me
and sometimes you just don't care
maybe you never realized
how much i loved you being there

i thought about you this morning
