Mummy

by CareBear   Nov 21, 2004

Mummy I'm sorry I'm not your little girl no more
Mummy I'm sorry I've hurt you many times before
I never meant to do these things
I always wanted to make you proud
Instead mummy I continuously let you down
I know I'm not perfect but I wish I was
I wish I was perfect for you mummy
Mummy I'm sorry for all the pain I've caused
Your so much better off without me
Everyday mummy, for you mummy I pray I'll be okay
I pray I'll make it through another day
so I can say I love you
I try so hard to please mummy but I never do what's right
Mummy I'm so sorry I'm giving up this fight
there's no hope left for me here
My life's slowly being let down
I'll miss you so much mummy
I know your better of without me
Mummy I'm sorry but it's true
I don't want to disappoint you anymore
I'm sorry I grew up mummy
I'm sorry that I lied
I told you things would never change
I'd still tell you that I love you no matter what
but things have changed and I don't know what to say
I'm just so sorry I grew up to be me
If only you knew the truth
You haven't seen the scars upon my wrist
I'm so sorry mummy, I know I'm a disgrace
