A divine love

O pray
i weep for that which i cannot possess
for i love thee
might i beg for thee to care as i do
sing for me, my love, the beautiful song
that i cannot sing for thyself
sing of the pain and blessing
that love in itself holds
o sweet sorrow to thine be true
paint me the picture i hold
paint me the darkness and paint me the light
show me that which thou feels
i love thee, doest thou love in turn
with this i beg, tarnish not thy lovers soul
