My Journey

I went on a journey looking for
some thing to release my pain
Everything I came across was
worse than the next
After a year of searching I started
giving up hope for myself
Then all of a sudden I stumbled
across a desert and in this desert
there was this beautiful mirage
I looked over at it looking at the
beauty it held from the far distance
I knew if I Kept going the beauty
would disappear into nothingness
wasting my time on this perfect find.
So I just took a deep breath and
one last look and turned around
For I knew that people saw me
one way but in reality I was actually
the opposite
It didn't matter what they thought
anymore for I found myself
My journey finally ended
and I had what I was looking for....
