The Uncertain

Walking away my mind wonders why.
Why must our love be cut so short?
Years planned out now suffer tears.
Eyes wide shut hoping it’s just a dream.

Memories of a wonderful time now slowly fade.
A tainted love tears apart now everyday.
Could there be a second chance at the love they once had?
So many questions to be asked yet there are so little answers to hear.

Why did time speed up and take her away?
Galloping through time she slowly began to fade.
But she came back to the one she loved.
Only to be taken away again by the hands of time.

How much longer will this pain last?
Darkness enshrouds the mind of a pure heart,
Good intentions go to waste along with the days.
Goodbye to the love I adore so much.

The world has no place for us any longer.
Two paths can now be seen and only one taken.
Which will it be?
Stay and fight; or turn around and run from open arms?

I’ll love you forever, without a doubt in my mind.
No questions to the love you’ve shown me any longer.
So let your tears fall down angel and breathe deeply.
Pray we cross again and give it another shot for purity.
