Confusion

by Driver   Nov 21, 2004

Sitting here alone with nowhere to go.
The past was awoken; the past I shut off so long ago.
Screams in the vast hour of darkness put me in a corner.
I can hear your voice hitting her as if you didn’t care about her.

When did it all go wrong? Why didn’t the love last?
Love vows were broken and the solemnly swears shattered.
Blue eyes turn misty everyday and don’t know what to say.
Lives were planned out, but now the walls come crashing down.

Anger is seen in your eyes with no mercy to give.
What happened to yesterday? What happened to the family that got along?
Days last forever and nights are eternal.
I can’t seem to find the reason to all this madness.

Life seems so meaningless, but yet I trudge on everyday.
Blinded by what I do not know, I’m lost in a world that I can’t trust.
You say you love her, yet your words slash at her heart.
How can you say you love her, when all’s that you do is hurt her?
