Tears Fall Down

by Driver   Nov 21, 2004

Tears fall down a face that can see the end.
When not too long ago it only saw the beginning.
Memories fill a mind that once was full of love.
Now filled with disbelief and not sure what to expect

A heart cries a song to catch your attention.
But you disappeared and nobody hears.
Emotions roar with every breath that is taken.
But the breaths come up short as time slips away.

Life seems so meaningless to the eyes of a broken heart.
Prays for help go unanswered into the darkness.
As the days become dark and the nights never end.
Life slips from the fingers from where it once thrived.

Closing the door, shutting off the world.
The knife shines bright in the moonlight.
Blood drips in the soundless, cold, and dark night.
Clutching a picture in his grasp, he fades away into the night sky unnoticed.
