Little Me, Razor Blade

by DMG   Nov 22, 2004

Let me tell you all a story
Of a boy who used to be
So depressed, took his life
With a little help from me

I remember the first day
When he took me off the shelf
Slid me calmly and slowly
Watched the blood drip from himself

My silver shine smeared with red
As I pressed against his flesh
Tore his skin from itself
Oh the blood tasted so fresh

I watched his eyes cringe and die
As my edge found another vain
His face became white and pale
Drained his life with such pain

He didn’t scream nor did he move
As I pressed so deep inside
If I said he slept in peace
Well then I would have lied

Back and forth I did grind
Tearing through his meaty wrist
I knew I was doing him right
And that he would not be missed

He pulled me back up his arm
Scraping flesh left and right
Drowned him in his own blood
Even reddened the white light

He grew dizzy I could see
Light-headed as he fell
I was his savior, little me
Released him from this Hell

He dropped me to the ground
Next to his body I lie
Scent of death fills the air
I am life’s best ally

I lay there shining bright
As his soul disappears
Little me, razor blade
Saves another from the tears

So if you need a friend
Look no further than to me
I am the only friend you need
The only one to set you free
