Night Seizures

by Sean Allen   Nov 22, 2004

Carpe Noctum,
seize the night,
don't let the light intrude.

Carpe Noctum,
seize the night,
it's our blessed interlude.

At Carpe Noctum,
(seize the night),
we are the avant garde.

At Carpe Noctum
we'll break your shell,
whether it be soft or hard.

At Carpe Noctum,
(seize the night),
art is the law.

At Carpe Noctum
you have the right
to commit any and all faux pas.

At Carpe Noctum
we may be loud,
but we are never rude.

At Carpe Noctum
we'll teach you to bite the
hand that provides your food.

Carpe Noctum,
seize the night,
Reflections' rare debut.

At Carpe Noctum
we extend our warmest welcome
to the brightest, and darkest too!
We'd like to bid you welcome,
and to bring out the artist in you.

This Carpe Noctum you speak of kind of sounds like EOP! Hah....

I really enjoyed this one, the people there sound wonderful and the lesson that they teach is one of great value. I'm sure that most poets would love to travel to such a place.
