Daughter of Zeus and Dione

by Jacki   Nov 22, 2004

I was born when the father of all castrated his son.
My brother threw his genitals into the ocean.
He started to churn it making foam, and so
I was born from the sea.
My father was always worried about me, afraid
Of the gods fighting for my hand in marriage.
I was born beautiful; my eyes were of sweet sexual rapture.
Soon though he finally gave in and let me take
The hand of another man in marriage.
He was steady, and made the loveliest jewels for me.
He once made me a girdle, and when ever I wore
This lovely piece of clothing nobody could resist me.
I captured there hearts and made their minds flutter
With infatuation for me.
I had many lovers besides my husband, who could
Resist my sweet temptations.
I bore a few sons, Adonis, he was my most famous.
My servants as you would call them, they were not
Prostitutes but worshiped my sexual origins.
A festival all for me.
You can find me in a dolphin, a swan, and the dove.
Those are just a few of the more popular things.
I am the aphrodisiac of Love, and the love of an Aphrodisiac.
