You say I have changed,
But I disagree,
The world has strange,
And it’s turned against me,
I’m fighting in a murderous war,
You say I’m different,
But you misunderstand,
My pleading words are incoherent,
My hopes never turn out as I planned,
Or wished,
You say I’m getting lazy,
And I’ll say you’re incorrect,
My heart is twisting crazily,
And eating at my intellect,
Leaving me alone,
You say life is what you make it,
But it isn’t my fault I can’t cope,
My world was decreed bit by bit,
By the freaks who said ‘keep hope’,
Whilst they all gave up.
You say ‘every cloud has a silver lining’,
Well mine has turned to rust,
And the only thing keeping me alive,
Is knowing that I must,
Keep fighting.
You say that I’m a hypocrite,
But look at who’s talking,
You’re telling me I don’t know a thing,
Whilst you keep on blundering,
And ruining everything.
