Tears fell down ivory cheeks, from hallowed eyes that fateful morning. You think love could've lasted, through the tribulation and rocky shores, waiting, searching for something more. I loved you once- you fooled my twice shame on you\for breaking such a fragile heart. You smiled at the self-made thought you found the Utopian dream, in crowds of popular comments and smiling faces. You threw love away in a heartbeat that wasn't even yours to have. You walked by without a glace, and made me realize I'm lost. In a world where the simplest emotion makes you run and hide behind a false mask you never wore at first. I once thought love was kind- but it's just lonely and cruel I once thought you'd stay beside me forever- but you didn't; and I'm lost without you. **Check out the orignal poem "Only You" this is spun off of and the companion poem "With Me"**
