Silly Dreamin'

When i look into your eyes,
my dreams come true,
yes, its you,
my heart loves you.

when i look away,
obstacles stare me in the face,
telling me to erase you, without a trace.
never that, no, not ever.
you and me, we'll be forever, silly dreamin'.

when i tell them its real,
they tell me to wake up.
i respond," i'm not asleep,
far from it, i'm silly dreamin'".

no indecisive fairytale dreams,
no fake smiles & flase hope.
only real, using metaphorical
methods may better explain it,
but it isn't reality.
its settled then, love's unexplained.
i'm still silly dreamin'.
